Privacy
What we collect, why, and who else sees it. This describes what the code actually does — the list of processors below is taken from the services the application calls.
Who is responsible
@jr_persico, contact jeanromain.persico@gmail.com. You can ask us at that address for a copy of your data, a correction, or its deletion, and you can complain to the CNIL.
What we collect
If you buy a place
Your email address, the brand name, link and X handle you enter, the logo you upload, and the amount. We keep these because they are the record of a sale and because the brand name and logo are displayed publicly on the board and on the globe — that is what is being bought. Card details are entered directly with Stripe and never reach our servers.
If you only look
A cookie holding a random identifier, so the visitor counter counts you once rather than once per page, and product analytics about which parts of the globe get used. No name, no email, no card. Analytics is not loaded at all when no analytics key is configured.
Who else sees it
| Service | What for | What is sent | Where |
|---|---|---|---|
| Stripe | Taking payment, and the receipt that follows it | Email address, amount, card details entered directly with Stripe — the card never reaches our servers | Ireland and the United States |
| Supabase | Storing the placements and the uploaded logos | Email address, brand name, brand URL and X handle, logo file, amount, payment reference | European Union |
| PostHog | Product analytics — which parts of the globe get used | A visitor identifier, pages viewed, interactions with the globe and the board. No name, no email, no card | European Union |
We do not sell anything to advertisers and we do not share your email with the places shown on the globe.
How long we keep it
Records of a sale for as long as accounting law requires. Analytics for a rolling period set in the analytics tool. A logo for as long as the placement is displayed, and then until you ask us to remove it.
Currency
Prices are in euros. If your card is issued in another currency, your bank sets the rate and may add its own fee; we never see that rate and it does not change the price above.
